This Privacy Policy describes how LambdaShot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our screenshot API service and website at lambdashot.com (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Company name (optional)

Usage Information

When you use the Service, we collect:

  • API request metadata (URLs requested, parameters used, timestamps)
  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Usage statistics and analytics

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store transaction summaries (amount, date, status) but never store your full credit card details.

What We Don't Store

By default, we do not persistently store your generated screenshots or videos:

  • Without caching: Screenshots are rendered and returned directly without persistent storage
  • Without storage options: Only request metadata is logged for analytics and debugging
  • With caching enabled: Screenshots are cached for your specified duration (default 4 hours, maximum 30 days)
  • With storage enabled: Screenshots are uploaded directly to your configured S3-compatible storage

Sensitive parameters like cookies, authorization headers, and proxy credentials are never logged.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and send billing information
  • Send technical notices and support messages
  • Respond to your comments and questions
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse
