1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LambdaShot screenshot API service ("Service") provided by LambdaShot ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

LambdaShot provides a screenshot and video recording API that allows you to programmatically capture images and videos of web pages. The Service includes:

  • Screenshot rendering API
  • Video recording API
  • PDF generation
  • Storage integration
  • Related documentation and tools

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. API Usage and Pricing

The Service is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis:

  • Screenshots and PDFs: 1¢ per request
  • Video recordings: 7¢ per request

You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of the Service. Fees are charged monthly to your payment method on file.

5. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Capture content you don't have permission to access
  • Distribute malware or engage in phishing
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Circumvent any rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

7. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you capture using the Service. We do not monitor, review, or endorse any content captured through the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by LambdaShot and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to content you capture using the Service, subject to any third-party rights in that content.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LAMBDASHOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LambdaShot and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LambdaShot regarding the Service.
